Pictures from Debbie's 1997-98 UK Trip

At the end of December 1997 Debbie came across the ocean and paid me a visit. We spend a day in London, came back to Edinburgh for Hogmanay (New Years), stayed for about two weeks, and then went back to London for a few days before she returned to the states. There's a slightly more detailed account of what we did here. But the pictures are right here!

After nabbing Deb from the airport, I rushed her off to the British Museum.

No, we didn't venture down to Greece. But the British have enough courtesy to display the Elgin Marbles for all the world to see.

Before going to Opera in Edinburgh, we posed for this picture in front of the menorah.

Debbie looks like a right wee lass inside one of Edinburgh Castle's internal gates.

Once inside the castle, I got to don a great kilt. Never mind the redcoat by my side!

Debbie's precariously balanced over Princes Street Gardens, all for a castle backdrop.

You might say that it suddenly got a bit cold.
